Research Proposal Guidelines & Requirements
We are currently accepting research proposals for experiments that test mechanisms to increase donation rates for effective programs in developing countries. The philosophy of the Giving for Impact foundation is based on effective altruism. This means that the foundation wants to create knowledge on how people can be encouraged to donate more money to highly effective charities, as opposed to charities that are not highly effective. Examples of highly effective charities can be found on http://www.givewell.org/charities/top-charities.
There is no minimum and maximum amount of money you can request. Funding decisions are based on Effective Altruism principles, which means that we will select the most cost-effective research proposals (lowest cost for highest impact). The criteria that we use to assess research proposals on can be found in this pdf.
In the form below you can apply for research funding from Giving for Impact.
